I'm sitting at my desk waiting for our last appointment of the day to show up.  He's not ususally late so I expect him to be here any time now.

The really cool thing is that my office is on the second floor and the window has a tree branch outside it.  The tree is an ornamental pear which has  lovely delicate blossoms all over it right now.  For about 3 days each year these trees look like large snow balls and then the tiny petals start flying all over.

Since my window is tree level and there is a breeze, the little petals are flying into my office and every once in a while I get showered with them.  The first time, I looked up puzzled and there were all these petals in the air around me.  How cool is that?  Now they're all over the floor and chair by the window but since I'm not the one who vacuums, I don't care.  I love seeing them float all over.  It was just a little bit of whimsy in an otherwise busy Tuesday.

The temps here are summer-like and we're not used to them yet.  My summer clothes are in the attic but it's really too soon to take them out.  Fortunately, there are some t shirts in the closet and I always leave out at least one pair of shorts.  Oh, the shock of the white legs!

How are things in your neck of the woods?

What a pretty image! It sounds delightful! I'm in a small ton hotel room reading blogs on my phone. Woke up early and it's dark and quiet!

how lovely, to be showered with petals at work. autumn is slowly creeping up on us here, with cooler nights and rain this morning, but still warm enough for my garden to be turning into a jungle! i need to get in there and cut some stuff!

It's lovely in my neck of the woods! I haven't worn socks in three days, a sure sign that it's warm out. The girl and I played with friends in the playground this morning, we had the boys' teacher conferences this afternoon and they were wonderful, Husband is home at the moment (gone again in two days, but here now). Today was a wonderful day.

Blossom confetti! Fabulous!

Autumn is finally creeping in. Rainy overcast day here, although still warm(ish). Daylight savings finished on the weekend which means it's dark by about 6pm now. Sleeping with a blanket on the bed now but still not cold enough for the doona!

That sounds lovely to have nature come in while you are working - can I work where you work?

I'm not ready for summer yet - I wish it would go back to spring for a little bit!

Cool-- 60s & 70s... and very spring like... I love that little mist of petals too--but we usually have big winds that carry them over our blacktop and swirling against the sky...

Wish my desk had a kewl tree outside of it. I'm in a cube farm (in a call center - ICK!), there are only two walls with windows and I'm able to glance out of longingly.

Sounds lovely:) We've finally got some spring like temperatures, but it's raining today so in a while I'll go and collect Kathryn and take her glittery pink wellies and red spotty raincoat and we'll go jumping in puddles on our way home (well, she'll jump I'll stay out of the way).

The weather continues nuts! It's been warm, and then windy, and then rainy, and tonight and tomorrow they say rain and snow mixed.

A shower of petals - how lovely! It has been beautiful here though windy. We enjoy every second before the heat hits.

I'm having lovely visions of the petals floating in around you. What a lovely little gift from nature.

The days are getting shorter, and cooler here and I'm starting to think about hibernating for winter.

Happy Sunday!  I am sitting here working on my sweater made with the cashmere yarn my husband gave me for my birthday last year. I’m further...
